Monday 3 k in the pool. was ok .legs felt alright after yesterdays ride. Shane turned up and looked super tough with his tattoos and sporting prowess. Pete Arnold was in too going well. Had a chat with MH about swimming he went off on a tangent that half way through even he stopped listening to but felt compelled to finish.

Evening Turbo.Dusted down the tt bike and got the power meter in action. Vo2 Max sets tonight5 times 3 mins at 110 per cent FTP.Now ive no idea what my ftp is so i started off 1st set at 275 watts. Bit easy. 2nd one started off at 325 kept it above 300 sick in a bag. 3rd/4th/5th average 285/290 so if u can work back that puts my ftp at 260/275. which is ok for this time of year and my weight is 68kgs. With fresh legs would it be higher? Alex was quite curious to know what it was too. Was good to have the power meter back in use. tuesday 2.4 k in the pool went well. then after a bit of a mad day and a last min booking at the farm i got on the treadmill in pembroke. started off 10 mins warm up at 11kmph upto 13kmph till 25mins 14 kmph to 8k 16kmph to 9k 18 to 21kmph for the last km.44.30 mins for the 10km then 10min warm down.Popped in to see steph then back up the house to meet the 3 lads who had booked. All good. Rest day tomorrow
