Today. Needed to do a big ride today.Nice day so no excuse.Headed out not too early.7.45am. Did the angle loop. Then over to Dale. Seems at the moment i simply can’t eat enough on the bike and blood sugar levels always feel like that they are too low. From dale upto broad haven where i saw the mighty Nathan Miles on the front of quite a big group of riders.Nat is posting some good times this year and he looked like he was going well.
On to newgale where picked up the old TOP route then back to h west, the footpath angle loop again and home. 101.9 miles at just under 16mph. It was all z2 riding and i felt ok.At times i wondered if i was going hard enough. Need to get the chest strap back for the HR monitor.

Went back out then on bike then for a medicinal pint of guinness with wins to the stackpole Inn. Where is was service with a scowl. Guy could barely say hello. Too many in the hospitality industry in Pembs really need to go and do something else. Headed over to Bosherston then to auntie vies tea shop for a coffee. Here the service was so bad it was comical. The waitress may as well have thrown the coffee at us. My only regret at this stage was that i didn’t have my full aero helmet on with the visor down.
Back then on the fire road across the range where wins promptly threw herself off the bike. To be fair at one point i thought she was going over the side of a cliff so this seemed like a happy alternative. Home then and an extra recovery 16miles. So 118miles in today.
