Turbo to night down at the gym with Nick. Was hard. “sweet spot” training. 3 times 10 min intervals at 80 to 85% Ftp or on endurance/threshold border. Which is 148 to 154 bpm for me. Went ok after yesterdays ride.
Got all the gossip from the week end. One of the boys said his average power for the group ride on saturday in 50 knots of SW wind and rain was 425 watts. I hope he has July free ,never mind IM Wales there’s quite a big event in France that month that he should be looking at. Or, his power meter is faulty. Another of the usual suspects was saying he enjoyed Saturdays ride but it was slower than he usually goes. I guess thats why he was dropped on the latter climbs.Got into a lethargic state and couldn’t respond. All bollox and banter of course.Too much talking at the back. The prefect said so. We have a new “enforcer” in our ranks and he takes his task and himself by the looks of it very seriously.Mr Fabulous is self appointed team leader so it seems
